Description
The project was developed by ET Energy Solutions, Johnson Melloh Solutions and Telamon. CleanCapital, Johnson Melloh Solutions and WGL Energy Systems are currently owning the project.
Indianapolis Airport Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 183 acres.
The project generates 36,100MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,650 households. The project cost is $73m.
The Indianapolis Airport Solar Park (Indianapolis Airport Solar Park – 1) consists of 44,128 modules, each with 280W nameplate capacity.
The Indianapolis Airport Solar Park (Indianapolis Airport Solar Park – 2) consists of 32,100 modules.
The Indianapolis Airport Solar Park (Indianapolis Airport Solar Park – 3) consists of 11,250 modules.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in October 2013.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Indianapolis Power & Light under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years, starting from 2013.

Cenergy Power was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Yaskawa – Solectria Solar supplied 20 of its SGI 500XT inverters inverters to the Indianapolis Airport Solar Park (Indianapolis Airport Solar Park – 1) site.
