Kryvorizka Thermal Power Plant, Ukraine

Kryvorizka Thermal Power Plant is a 2,925MW coal fired power project. It is located in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1963.

Description

The project is currently owned by DTEK Energy with a stake of 100%.

It is a steam turbine with cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Natural Gas. The fuel is procured from DTEK Mine Komsomolets Donbassa PJSC.

The project generated 2,578,300MWh of electricity.
