Description

The project is being developed by Green Tech Egypt, OAK Group Holdings and Renergy Group Partners. The project is co-owned by Green Tech Egypt, National Organization for Military Production, OAK Group Holdings and Renergy Group Partners, with their respective ownership stake of 25% each.

Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
