Description
The project is currently owned by Sadara Chemical.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is oil. In case of shortage of oil the plant can also run on Gas.
The Dual-Fuel fired project consists of 6 steam turbines, each with 80MW nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2016.
Contractors Involved
Fluor was selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
