Greenko Group has announced that it has raised $650m through a private placement of 5.25% green bonds due 2024.

Goldman Sachs & Co, BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, and other investors have subscribed to the offer.

The company has engaged Barclays, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Investec as book-running managers for the offering.

Net proceeds are intended to be used for refinancing the company’s debts.

NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) plans to raise Rs50bn ($776.4m) through a private placement of corporate bonds.

With a face value of CNY100 ($14.74) each, the notes have been issued in the domestic interbank market through a book-building process.

The company engaged Bank of China and the Agricultural Bank of China as its lead underwriters for the offering.

Proceeds from the offering are intended to increase the working capital of the headquarters and repay debts.
