Deals this week: PyroGenesis Canada, Greenko Group, NHPC


PyroGenesis Canada has exercised its warrants to raise C$0.3m ($0.23m).

PyroGenesis Canada is a plasma waste-to-energy systems and plasma torch products manufacturing company.

Greenko Group has announced that it has raised $650m through a private placement of 5.25% green bonds due 2024.

Goldman Sachs & Co, BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, and other investors have subscribed to the offer.

The company has engaged Barclays, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Investec as book-running managers for the offering.

Net proceeds are intended to be used for refinancing the company’s debts.

NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) plans to raise Rs50bn ($776.4m) through a private placement of corporate bonds.

The company also intends to raise Rs4.9bn ($76.7m) by issuing W-series corporate bonds in a private placement, as a part of the previously approved Rs45bn ($698.7m) issue.

Jinlongyu Group plans to raise gross proceeds of CNY496m ($73.23m) by issuing 80 million shares priced at CNY6.2 ($0.92) a share in an initial public offering (IPO).

Engaged in the manufacture and marketing of wires and cables, Jinlongyu intends to place its shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s small and medium enterprises (SME) board.

Huaneng Power International has raised gross proceeds of CNY5bn ($737.1m) under first tranche of public offering of 4.69% mid-term notes due July 2022.

With a face value of CNY100 ($14.74) each, the notes have been issued in the domestic interbank market through a book-building process.

The company engaged Bank of China and the Agricultural Bank of China as its lead underwriters for the offering.

Proceeds from the offering are intended to increase the working capital of the headquarters and repay debts.
