EFK to provide finance for Romanian wind projects

Enel Green Power through its subsidiary Enel Green Power International has signed an agreement with the Danish Government's Export Credit Agency (EKF) to secure finance of €112m.

The funds will be used to support development of Enel Green Power Romania's wind power plants to reach a total installed capacity of 118MW.

The wind projects are to be built with an investment of €180m.

In addition, the firms have also signed a master facilities agreement, setting out the general loan terms and conditions.

Citigroup has been appointed as the agent and facilitator for the project.
