Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a second order from TuuliWatti to supply turbines with a total generating capacity of 26MW for a wind energy project in Finland.

The company will deliver, install and commission eight units of its V112-3MW turbine in Ii-Olhava scheduled to be complete by the end of 2012.

The contract also includes a full-scope six-year active output management agreement.

Earlier this year, Finland launched a feed-in tariff system for renewable energy, and it has a renewable energy target to produce 6tnWh from wind power by 2020, which requires a capacity of about 2,500MW.
