T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in Q2 2021 with 300 tenders and a 43% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 228 tenders and a 32.7% share and Power Plant with 49 tenders and a 7% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 17 tenders and a 53.1% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: nine tenders and a 28.1% share
  3. Project Implementation: four tenders and a 12.5% share
