Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q2 2021 with 88 tenders and a 26.3% share, followed by T&D Project with 84 tenders and a 25.1% share and T&D Equipment with 74 tenders and a 22.1% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 53 tenders and a 63.1% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 22 tenders and a 26.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: nine tenders and a 10.7% share.
Wind is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in Q2 2021
Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for four tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by solar with two tenders and a 33.3% share.
