Srinagar Substation is a 400/220kV substation located in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. The construction works on Srinagar Substation began in 2015. The project was commissioned in 2016.
Description
The Srinagar Substation project is a new substation being operated by Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand.
The designed voltage level of the project is 400/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 400/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 630MVA.
Srinagar Substation has received approval from Jammu & Kashmir State Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.
