T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in October 2021 with 42 tenders and a 32.8% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 25 tenders and a 19.5% share and Power Plant with 24 tenders and an 18.8% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 16 tenders and an 80% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 10% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: two tenders and a 10% share.
