Description

The project was developed by Goldwind Australia, N. P. Power, OneWind Australia and Powerchina Resources. Powerchina Resources and Goldwind Australia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project generates 380GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 63,500 households. The project cost is $223.926m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Aurora Energy under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2020.

Contractors Involved

Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 48 units of GW 140/3MW(S) turbines.
