Green energy company ACME has received tenders for building a total of 200MW solarpower plants in India.
The company won 150MW out of 400MW projects by SECI in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The bid was for a fixed tariff of $0.06 per unit.

After signing power purchase agreements (PPA), the projects are expected to be commissioned within 13 months and is estimated to produce nearly 7.5 billion units over a 25-year period.
The company has also won a tender for 50MW of the total 350MW by NTPC to build solarpower projects in Telangana, which is expected to generate approximately 2,500 million units over a period of 25 years.
ACME was awarded this contract after placing a financial bid for a tariff of $0.07. It will also be commissioned within 13 months from the date of signing.
ACME founder and chairman Manoj Kumar Upadhyay said: "After bagging this tender, our overall portfolio has expanded to 1,519MW.
