Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 40% in October 2022, a 27.27% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 20% in October 2022, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 15% in October 2022, a 25% drop from September 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 70% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Middle East & Africa’s power industry during October 2022 over previous month.
Siemens posted 9 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered an increase of 50% over the previous month, followed by Siemens Energy with 5 jobs and a 150% growth. SSE Renewables Walney (UK) with 1 IT job and OPC Energy with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Avineon recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2022.
