Description
The project was developed by Marlim Azul. Patria Investimentos, Shell and Mitsubishi Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.1%, 29.9% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Shell Brasil Petroleo Ltda.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
