The project is being developed by FRV Services Australia. Abdul Latif Jameel Energy and Environmental Services and OMERS Infrastructure Management are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
Fosterville Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 185 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 1,187,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 33,580 households. The project is expected to offset 132,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
