The turbines, part of the Delta4000 series, will be installed on 105m-high steel tube towers.

Construction is set to commence in October 2026, with the wind farm’s commissioning scheduled for March 2027.

The client and project name have not been disclosed.

The wind farm is expected to stabilise Ecuador’s electricity supply, especially during the Amazon region’s dry season and help in reducing power outages.
