The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved

Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power Group will be the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company is expected to provide 2 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

Heavy Mechanical Complex (Pvt) is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site has a capacity of 84TPH. The steam will be pressurized inside the boiler at 65bar.
