Description

The project was developed by Buzen New Energy. Erex, Kyuden Mirai Energy and Kyudenko are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65%, 27% and 8% respectively.

The project generates 530GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 150,000 households.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project got commissioned in January 2020.

JFE Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

Fuji Electric was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company supplied Reheat Condensing Turbine model turbines for the project.

Valmet supplied steam boiler for the project.Fuji Electric supplied the electric generator for the project.
