Description

Dogwood Energy, Kansas City Board of Public Utilities, Missouri Public Utility Alliance, City of Independence, Missouri, Kansas Municipal Energy Agency and Kansas Power Pool are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 36.7%, 17%, 16.4%, 12.3%, 10.1% and 7% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Williams Southern Star Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.

The project generated 1,660,825MWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in June 2001.
