Description

The project was developed by Hog Creek Wind Farm. Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and EDP Renovaveis are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 19,000 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 30 units of V110-2.2 MW turbines, each with 2.2MW nameplate capacity.
