Notably, electric vehicles was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q3 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of mobile and advanced materials, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the power industry, FirstEnergy had the greatest increase in references for electric vehicles in Q3 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified six electric vehicles-related sentences in the company's filings - 0.5% of all sentences - and a decrease of 14% in Q3 2023 compared with Q3 2022. WEC Energy Group’s mentions of electric vehicles dropped by 79% to 5 and Adani Power’s by 50% to 1 and CLP’s by 67% to 1 and Enphase Energy’s by 75% to 1.
