Italy-based company Enel’s IT hiring declined 3.5% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 7.08% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 6.69% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.31% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Enel IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Enel, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.26% in October 2021, and a 77.78% rise over September 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 17.28% in October 2021, and registered growth of 27.27%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.64% in October 2021, a 75% rise from September 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Enel

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 61.73% share, which marked an 117.39% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 22.22%, registering a 157.14% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 12.35% share and a 33.33% drop over September 2021.

In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 3.7% and a month-on-month increase of 200%.

Italy commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 24.69% share in October 2021, a 42.86% growth over September 2021. Spain featured next with a 20.99% share, up 112.5% over the previous month. US recorded a 19.75% share, an increase of 128.57% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Enel IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.19%, up by 187.5% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 7.41% share, a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.41% share, down 68.42% over September 2021.
