The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 29.21% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 17.46% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 1.07% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 49.23% in September 2022, and a 43.86% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.92% in September 2022, and registered growth of 10%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 13.85% in September 2022, a 40% drop from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 63.08% share, which marked a 38.81% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 27.69%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.69% share and a 61.54% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.54% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 56.92% share in September 2022, a 40.32% decline over August 2022. US featured next with a 24.62% share, down 40.74% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.62%, down by 28.81% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.54% share, a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.85% share, down 59.09% over August 2022.
