Description
The project was developed by DLF Home Developers and Suzlon Infrastructure Services. The project is currently owned by BLP Vayu (Project 1) with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 340,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 127,579 households, offsetting 285,127t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in September 2007.

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 100 units of S82-1.5 MW turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Suzlon Infrastructure Services is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
