Description

The project was developed by Suzlon Infrastructure Services and is currently owned by Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 47,852MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,955 households, offsetting 43,363t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in March 2008.

Contractors Involved

Abdasa GACL (Abdasa GACL Phase I) is equipped with Suzlon Energy turbines. The phase consists of 19 turbines, each with 1.25MW nameplate capacity.

Abdasa GACL (Abdasa GACL Phase II) is equipped with Suzlon Energy turbines.

Suzlon Infrastructure Services is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
