The project was developed by Societe Energie Eolienne du Maroc and is currently owned by Nareva Holding with a stake of 75%.

The Aftissat Wind Farm (Aftissat Wind Farm Phase I), has 100m high towers.

LafargeHolcim Maroc and OCP are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Aftissat Wind Farm (Aftissat Wind Farm Phase I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-3.6-130 turbines. The phase consists of 56 turbines with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.

Aftissat Wind Farm (Aftissat Wind Farm Phase II) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 40 turbines, each with 5MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the Aftissat Wind Farm (Aftissat Wind Farm Phase II) for a period of 20 years.
