Aioi Bioenergy Project is a 200MW biopower project. It is planned in Hyogo, Japan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in January 2023.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood pellets which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by January 2023.
Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions will be the steam turbine supplier for the project. Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions is expected to be the supplier of electric generators for the project.
