The project was developed by Akhisar Ruzgar Enerjisinden Elektrik Uretim Santrali Ltd. Sti and FutureCamp. The project is currently owned by Karesi Enerji.
The Akres RES (Akres I), has 80m high towers.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in October 2011.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Limak Enerji under a power purchase agreement for a period of one year from 2013. The contracted capacity is 45MW.
Contractors Involved
Nordex was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Akres RES (Akres I) is equipped with Nordex N90 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 18 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Akres RES (Akres II) is equipped with Nordex N100 (2.5 MW) turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
