Description
The project was developed by EDP Gestao da Producao de Energia and is currently owned by Energias de Portugal.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 568.7 million cubic meter. The project generated 83 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 36.75MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied electric generator(s) for the project. The generator capacity is 45 MVA.
