Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by 2W Energia. The company has a stake of 99.99%.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 360,000 households, to offset 320,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $271.656m.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in January 2022.
Contractors Involved
WEG will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 33 units of AGW 147/4.2 turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
WEG is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.
