Description
The project was developed by Anyang Biomass Power and is currently owned by Avarga with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 144GWh electricity thereby offsetting 139,499t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $81.329m.
Agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2012.
Contractors Involved
Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery (Group) was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 2 units of C12-4.9/0.98 turbines, each with 12MW nameplate capacity.
Jiangxi Jianglian Energy & Environment supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 485Degree Celsius.
