Api Power Parwanipur Solar PV Park is a 10.81MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Janakpur, Nepal. The project is currently in financed stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Api Power.

Api Power Parwanipur Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 40 acres.

The project cost is expected to be around $8.62m.

The solar power project consists of 34,320 modules, each with 315W nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Nepal Electricity Authority under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.064kWh for a period of 25 years. The capacity to be procured is 8MW.

Contractors Involved

Sungrow Power Supply is likely to be the supplier of 4 inverters to the project site.
