Companhia Paranaense de Energia and Petroleo Brasileiro are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Companhia Paranaense de Gas S.A. (Compagas).
