Araucaria Power Plant is a 469MW gas fired power project. It is located in Parana, Brazil. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in September 2002.

Companhia Paranaense de Energia and Petroleo Brasileiro are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Companhia Paranaense de Gas S.A. (Compagas).
The project got commissioned in September 2002.
The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Siemens.
The electric generators for the project were procured from GE Power and Siemens Energy.
John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
