The project was developed by Empreendimentos Eolicos do Vale do Minho and is currently owned by Finerge Gestao de Projectos Energeticos.
The project generates 95,400MWh electricity thereby offsetting 52,566t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Arga (Arga I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V90-3.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 12 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.
Arga (Arga II) is equipped with Enercon E-92 / 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.
