The project is developed and owned by EDF Renewables Canada.
Arnprior Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 200 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 7,000 households. The project cost is $94.362m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2009.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.42kWh for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
EDF Renewables was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 312,000 modules at the site.
Schneider Electric supplied 2 of its Xantrex GT500 E inverters to the project site.
EDF Renewables is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
