The project is currently owned by Enel Generacion El Chocon with a stake of 100%.
Arroyito is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project is 15.9m. The project generated 689 GWh of electricity.

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines, each with 42.66MW nameplate capacity.
