T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in September 2019 with 222 tenders and a 51.3% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 79 tenders and an 18.2% share and Generation Equipment with 65 tenders and a 15% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 51 tenders and an 89.5% share

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:
- NHPC (India): 2,000MW from one tender
- Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 1,200MW from one tender
