The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation with 68 tenders and a 73.1% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 12 tenders and a 12.9% share
- Supply & Erection: seven tenders and a 7.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six tenders and a 6.5% share.
India tops Asia-Pacific solar power tenders activity
India was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology tenders recorded in October 2020 with 71 tenders and a 76.3% share, followed by Nepal with eight tenders and an 8.6% share and Australia with five tenders and a 5.4% share.

Asia-Pacific solar technology tenders in October 2020: Top issuers by capacity
The top issuers of tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:
- Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (India): 250MW from one tender
- NHPC (India): 165MW from two tenders
- Oil India (India) and Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (India): 100MW capacity from one tender.
