T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in July 2020 with 148 tenders and a 35.6% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 134 tenders and a 32.2% share and Power Plant with 91 tenders and a 21.9% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 116 tenders and an 86.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 13 tenders and a 9.7% share
- Project Implementation: five tenders and a 3.7% share.
Thermal is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders in July 2020
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, thermal accounted for five tenders with a 62.5% share, followed by hydro with three tenders and a 37.5% share.
