T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in May 2021 with 39 tenders and a 28.9% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 37 tenders and a 27.4% share and T&D Project with 33 tenders and a 24.4% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 29 tenders and an 87.9% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 9.1% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: one tender and a 3% share.
