Description

The project is being developed by Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind. The project is co-owned by EDF Renewables and Shell New Energies US, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 700,000 households. The project will be spread over an area of 742.003km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.

Vestas Offshore Wind will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 110 units of V236-15.0 MW turbines.
