Attunli Project is a 680MW hydro power project. It is planned on Tangon / Talon river/basin in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2025 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2029.

Description
The project is being developed by Attunli Hydro Electric Power. Jindal Power and Hydro Power Development Corporation of Arunachal Pradesh are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 74% and 26% respectively.
Attunli Project is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 13.96 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 286.3m and 267.13m respectively. The project is expected to generate 2,796 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,005.5m.
The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 170MW nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2029.
