Description

The project is currently owned by NTPC with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from HBJ Pipeline – South Basin Gas field.

The project generated 1,664,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $3,735.7m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in March 1989.

Power Purchase Agreement

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam are the power offtakers from the project.

Auraiya Combined Cycle Power Plant (Auraiya Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit I) is equipped with Mitsubishi Power 701D gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 110MW nameplate capacity.

Auraiya Combined Cycle Power Plant (Auraiya Combined Cycle Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with Mitsubishi Power 701D gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 110MW nameplate capacity.
