Description
The project is currently owned by NTPC with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from HBJ Pipeline – South Basin Gas field.
The project generated 1,664,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $3,735.7m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 1989.
Power Purchase Agreement
Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam are the power offtakers from the project.
