Description
The project is currently owned by Orsted.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 325,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $1,479.2m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood pellets which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2014.
