Baikonur Solar PV Park, Kazakhstan

Baikonur Solar PV Park is a 50MW solar PV power project. It is located in Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2019.

The project was developed by Samruk Kazyna United Green Energy and is currently owned by Baikonur Solar.

Baikonur Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 150 hectares.

The project generates 73,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 75,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $65m.

The project consists of 150,822 modules.
