The project is currently owned by Electric Power Industry of Serbia.
Bajina Basta PSP is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 150 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 621m and 532m respectively.
Development Status
The project commenced construction in 1976.
Contractors Involved
Toshiba Hydro Power (Hanzhou) was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 300MW nameplate capacity.
