Bajo Anchicaya is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 5 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 72m. The project generated 330 GWh of electricity.

The turbines for the hydro power project have been supplied by GE Renewable Energy and Voith Hydro Holding.
