The project was developed by Impulsora del Desarrollo y el Empleo en America Latina SA (IDEAL) and is currently owned by Autoridad Nacional de los Servicios Publicos (Asep) with a stake of 100%.

Contractors Involved
Energomash was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 27MW nameplate capacity.
Electrotyazhmash supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
