The project was developed by JSC “Institute Hydroproject” “Zhuk” and is currently owned by RusHydro with a stake of 100%.
The gross head of the project is 59.25m. The project generated 181.5 GWh of electricity.

The project construction commenced in 1962 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1970.
Contractors Involved
Ukrainian Energy Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 26MW nameplate capacity.
Uralelectrotyazhmash supplied 3 electric generators for the project.
